Saco River Tubing

Join Portsmouth Naval Shipyard MWR on Sunday, August 7 for a trip to the Saco River to go tubing. The cost to participate is $45 per person and includes van transportation, open bottom tube rental with cupholder, life jacket, shuttle up river, and rec fees. If you would like to meet us there the cost to participate is $27 per person (arrive by 12:15 p.m. for a 12:30 p.m. shuttle).

We will head down the river for a mile and a half (up to two hours). If there is time you can even go again. We'll leave the shipyard at 9 a.m. and head to North Conway where you can relax and have an early lunch (on your own). At noon we will meet and head down the road, change, take a shuttle, and start our floating adventure from 1 to 3 p.m. We will leave at 3:30 p.m. and return to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard by 6 p.m. 

Water shoes are required for the shuttle and waivers must be signed in advance.
